Samsung Washer OE code: Overflow error
The washer detected more water in the drum than it should have. It may try to drain on its own to prevent a flood.
Most common causes
- Water inlet valve stuck open and not shutting off
- Faulty water level sensor
- Too many suds throwing off the water level reading
- Drain problem leaving water in the tub
What you can safely check yourself
- If water keeps flowing in with the washer off, turn off both water faucets behind the washer right away.
- Unplug the washer for a few minutes and check whether it keeps filling while unplugged.
- Use the correct amount of HE detergent to avoid over-sudsing.
Unplug the appliance before moving or cleaning anything. Do not open panels, touch gas connections or bypass safety switches.
