Dryer repair · Orlando & Central Florida

Dryer repair in Orlando,
usually same week.

A dryer that takes two cycles is not just annoying — it is burning electricity and, if the cause is a blocked vent, it is a fire risk. Dryer fires are one of the most common appliance fires in US homes and lint is the fuel. Half the "no heat" and "takes too long" calls we run in Orlando end with a vent clean as well as a part.

Dryer problems we fix

What the symptom usually means, from the technicians who see it every week.

Runs but no heat

Burnt heating element or blown thermal fuse (electric), failed igniter or flame sensor (gas), or a tripped high-limit thermostat — which itself points to restricted airflow.

Takes two or three cycles to dry

Lint-blocked vent run, crushed flex duct behind the dryer, failed moisture sensor, or a heating element that is only partly working.

Drum won't turn

Snapped drive belt, seized drum roller, failed idler pulley or a motor that hums but will not start.

Squealing, thumping or grinding

Worn drum rollers or glides, a failing idler pulley bearing, or an object caught in the blower wheel.

Burning smell

Lint on the heating element or in the blower housing, a slipping belt, or a motor overheating. Stop using the dryer until it is inspected.

Repair or replace?

Dryers are simple machines and almost always worth repairing. Elements, fuses, igniters, belts and rollers are inexpensive parts; the labor is the visit. Only a failed motor or control board on a dryer over 12 years old tips the math toward replacement.

Dryer repair questions

Why did my dryer stop heating right after I moved in?

Very often the vent. A long or crushed vent run trips the thermal fuse, and once it blows the dryer runs cold until the fuse is replaced and the airflow problem is fixed. We do both in the same visit.

Do you clean dryer vents?

Yes — a full vent clean and airflow test is on our price book, and we recommend it whenever a dryer is repaired for heat or drying-time problems.

Do you repair gas dryers?

Yes. Igniters, flame sensors, gas valve coils and thermostats on gas dryers are all same-visit repairs.

Dryer broken? Book a real window.

Pick a slot online, get a 2-hour arrival window the evening before, a flat-rate quote on site, and your $79.00 diagnostic comes off the bill.
