Privacy policy

What we collect
- Contact details — name, mobile number, email and service address, so we can schedule and reach you.
- Appliance details — type, brand, model and the symptoms you describe, so the technician arrives with the right parts.
- Photos taken by the technician during the repair, attached to your job record and receipt.
- Payment details — processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Messages between you and your technician through the tracking page.
How we use it
To schedule and perform your repair, to keep you informed about it, to take payment, to honor your warranty, and to keep records we are required to keep. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your number with advertisers.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party, except to the messaging platform that delivers the texts on our behalf. All other categories of information above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; that information is never sold, rented or shared.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers who make the repair happen: our technicians, our payment processor (Stripe), our messaging providers (Twilio for text, Resend for email), our hosting and database providers, and parts suppliers when a part must be ordered for your appliance. Each receives only what it needs.
Technician location
While a technician is en route to you, their van’s location is shared with you so you can see the ETA. Location sharing stops when the job ends.
How long we keep it
Job records are kept for the length of your warranty plus the period required for tax and accounting purposes. You can ask us to delete anything not subject to those requirements.
Your choices
Reply STOP to any text to stop text messages. Use the unsubscribe link in any non-essential email. To see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, email privacy@fixproappliances.com. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete or port your data, and to appeal a refusal.
Children
Our services are not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
