Samsung Washer 1C code: Water level sensor error
The washer is not getting a sensible reading from its water level (pressure) sensor, so it cannot tell how much water is in the drum. Samsung groups this with its leak codes on some models.
Most common causes
- Faulty water level (pressure) sensor
- Loose or damaged sensor wiring
- Clogged or kinked sensor air hose
- Leak or siphoning that confuses the level reading
What you can safely check yourself
- Turn the washer off for 2 to 3 minutes, turn it back on and try again.
- Check for leaks and make sure the drain hose is installed correctly.
- Run an empty rinse cycle to see whether the code returns.
Unplug the appliance before moving or cleaning anything. Do not open panels, touch gas connections or bypass safety switches.
