Samsung Washer ddC code: Add Door not closed
On models with a small Add Door (AddWash), the washer cannot confirm the small door is closed and locked. The cycle will not start or continue until it is.
Most common causes
- Add Door not pushed fully closed
- Clothing or debris caught in the Add Door
- Worn Add Door latch or switch
What you can safely check yourself
- Push the Add Door firmly until it clicks shut.
- Check the Add Door edges and latch for caught clothing or debris.
- Turn the washer off for 2 to 3 minutes, then restart.
