Samsung Washer 9C1 code: Voltage / power supply error
The washer is seeing power that is too low, too high or interrupted. It stops to protect its electronics until power returns to normal.
Most common causes
- Washer plugged into an extension cord or power strip
- Shared or overloaded circuit
- Brief power outage or brownout
- Loose outlet or plug connection
- Electronic control fault
What you can safely check yourself
- Plug the washer directly into a grounded wall outlet on its own circuit, with no extension cord or power strip.
- Turn the washer off for 2 to 3 minutes, then back on and restart.
- Check whether other appliances on the same circuit are running at the same time.
Unplug the appliance before moving or cleaning anything. Do not open panels, touch gas connections or bypass safety switches.
