LG Washer tE code: Heating error
The washer detected a problem heating the water or reading its temperature. Cycles that rely on heated water may not finish correctly.
Most common causes
- Faulty water heater element
- Faulty temperature sensor (thermistor)
- Loose wiring to the heater or sensor
- Control board fault
What you can safely check yourself
- Unplug the washer for 10 seconds, plug it back in and restart
- Try a cold or warm cycle to see if the code only appears on hot or sanitize cycles
Unplug the appliance before moving or cleaning anything. Do not open panels, touch gas connections or bypass safety switches.
