LG Washer IE code: Water fill error
The washer did not fill to the right water level within the time it expects. It usually means too little water is reaching the machine.
Most common causes
- Hot or cold water faucet turned off or only partly open
- Kinked or pinched inlet hoses
- Clogged screens in the inlet hose connections
- Low household water pressure or frozen supply lines
- Faulty water inlet valve
What you can safely check yourself
- Make sure both water faucets behind the washer are fully open
- Straighten any kinked or pinched fill hoses
- Turn the faucets off, disconnect the hoses and rinse any debris out of the inlet screens, then reconnect snugly
- Check that other taps in the house have normal pressure
- Unplug the washer for about 10 seconds, plug it back in and restart
Unplug the appliance before moving or cleaning anything. Do not open panels, touch gas connections or bypass safety switches.
