LG Washer PF code: Power failure
The washer lost power partway through a cycle, such as during an outage or a tripped breaker, and stopped.
Most common causes
- Power outage or brief flicker
- Tripped breaker or GFCI outlet
- Loose plug or use of an extension cord
What you can safely check yourself
- Make sure the washer is plugged directly into a working wall outlet (no extension cord)
- Check the breaker and reset any tripped GFCI outlet
- Unplug the washer, hold Start/Pause for about 5 seconds, plug back in and restart
Unplug the appliance before moving or cleaning anything. Do not open panels, touch gas connections or bypass safety switches.
