LG Washer tCL code: Tub clean reminder
This is a reminder, not a fault. The washer is telling you it is time to run the Tub Clean cycle to cut down on odor and residue.
Most common causes
- Regular wash count reached since the last Tub Clean
- Tub Clean cycle has not been run recently
What you can safely check yourself
- Empty the drum and run the Tub Clean cycle with a washer-cleaning product as your manual directs
- Leave the door open after washing so the drum can dry
- Plan to run Tub Clean about once a month
Unplug the appliance before moving or cleaning anything. Do not open panels, touch gas connections or bypass safety switches.
