Samsung Dryer tC5 code: Second temperature sensor error
The dryer's second temperature sensor is reading out of range. The dryer stops because it cannot safely monitor heat.
Most common causes
- Clogged lint screen or restricted vent
- Failed second thermistor
- Loose sensor wiring
What you can safely check yourself
- Clean the lint screen.
- Check the exhaust vent for restrictions.
- Power the dryer off for 2 to 3 minutes, then restart.
Unplug the appliance before moving or cleaning anything. Do not open panels, touch gas connections or bypass safety switches.
