Samsung Dryer 9C1 code: Voltage error
The power reaching the dryer is not what it needs to run the motor and heater safely. The dryer stops to protect itself.
Most common causes
- Dryer on an extension cord or shared circuit
- Tripped half of a double breaker on electric dryers
- Loose or incorrect power cord connection
- Low or unstable house voltage
What you can safely check yourself
- Make sure the dryer is plugged directly into its own wall outlet with no extension cord.
- On electric dryers, reset both halves of the dryer's double breaker.
- Power the dryer off for a few minutes, then restart.
Unplug the appliance before moving or cleaning anything. Do not open panels, touch gas connections or bypass safety switches.
