Samsung Dishwasher OC code: Overfill error
The dishwasher detected too much water in the tub. Samsung handles this the same way as a drain problem.
Most common causes
- Water not draining between fills because of a clog
- Inlet valve not shutting off completely
- Faulty water level sensor
- Too many suds from the wrong detergent
What you can safely check yourself
- Clean the filter and sump area.
- Check the drain hose for kinks and make sure the sink drain is clear.
- Use only automatic-dishwasher detergent.
Unplug the appliance before moving or cleaning anything. Do not open panels, touch gas connections or bypass safety switches.
