Samsung Dishwasher 3E code: Incoming water too hot
The water coming into the dishwasher is hotter than it is designed to accept. Samsung says the hot water supply should stay at or below 176°F.
Most common causes
- Water heater set too high
- Dishwasher connected to a very hot water source
- Faulty temperature sensor
What you can safely check yourself
- Check the water temperature at the kitchen faucet and lower the water heater setting if it is very hot.
- Restart the cycle once the water temperature is normal.
Unplug the appliance before moving or cleaning anything. Do not open panels, touch gas connections or bypass safety switches.
