Samsung Dishwasher 4C code: Water supply error
The dishwasher is not getting water with enough pressure (or at the right temperature) to fill properly. It stops rather than wash with too little water.
Most common causes
- Water supply valve under the sink closed or partly closed
- Kinked or frozen supply line
- Low household water pressure
- Using a flood-stop style hose Samsung advises against
- Faulty water inlet valve
What you can safely check yourself
- Make sure the water shut-off valve under the sink is fully open.
- Check the supply line for kinks.
- Run the kitchen faucet to confirm the house has normal water pressure.
- Turn the power off at the breaker for 30 seconds, then restart a cycle.
Unplug the appliance before moving or cleaning anything. Do not open panels, touch gas connections or bypass safety switches.
