Samsung Refrigerator 39E code: Ice maker function error
The ice maker could not complete its normal cycle, often because ice is jammed or water is not reaching it.
Most common causes
- Ice jammed in the ice maker or bucket
- Frozen fill tube or low water flow to the ice maker
- Clogged or old water filter
- Failed ice maker assembly
What you can safely check yourself
- Remove the ice bucket and clear any ice clumps or jams, then reinstall it firmly.
- Check that the water supply valve to the fridge is open and replace an old water filter.
- Turn the ice maker off and back on.
Unplug the appliance before moving or cleaning anything. Do not open panels, touch gas connections or bypass safety switches.
