LG Refrigerator OFF code: Demo mode (cooling off)
This is not a fault. The refrigerator is in display (demo) mode, which turns off cooling in both sections while the lights and display keep working.
Most common causes
- Demo mode left on from the store, or turned on by accidentally pressing a button combination
What you can safely check yourself
- Follow your manual to exit demo mode; on many LG models you hold the Refrigerator button and press Express Freeze three times
Unplug the appliance before moving or cleaning anything. Do not open panels, touch gas connections or bypass safety switches.
