LG Refrigerator Er CO code: Communication error
The main control board and the display panel are not communicating correctly.
Most common causes
- Loose or damaged wiring between the boards (often running through the door hinge)
- Faulty display board
- Faulty main control board
- Moisture in a connector
What you can safely check yourself
- Unplug the refrigerator for about 5 minutes, then plug it back in to see if the code clears
