LG Dryer PS code: Power supply error
The dryer detected incorrect voltage coming in. LG says it is usually caused by the power cord wires being connected wrong at the dryer's terminal block.
Most common causes
- Power cord wires reversed at the terminal block (common after a new install or cord swap)
- Improperly grounded outlet
- Faulty outlet or house wiring
What you can safely check yourself
- Reset the dryer breaker (off for about 10 seconds, then on)
- If the dryer was just installed or the cord was just changed, ask the installer to recheck the cord connection
Unplug the appliance before moving or cleaning anything. Do not open panels, touch gas connections or bypass safety switches.
