Samsung Oven / Range door code: Door not closed
The oven thinks the door is not fully closed, usually through the small plunger switch the door presses when it shuts.
Most common causes
- Door not fully closed
- Door switch plunger stuck or not springing back
- Failed door switch
What you can safely check yourself
- Close the oven door completely.
- With the oven cool and off, check that the round black plunger switch near the door frame moves in and out freely.
Unplug the appliance before moving or cleaning anything. Do not open panels, touch gas connections or bypass safety switches.
