Samsung Oven / Range C-d1 code: Door lock error
The oven door lock is not in the position the control expects, usually around a self-clean cycle. The oven may refuse to lock or unlock.
Most common causes
- Door lock motor or switch failure
- Loose door lock wiring
- Something keeping the door from closing fully
- Control board fault
What you can safely check yourself
- Make sure the oven door closes fully and nothing is caught in it.
- Turn the oven off and restart; if it persists, switch off the range's breaker for 30 seconds, then restore power.
- If the door is locked after self-clean, let the oven cool completely before trying again. Never force the door.
Unplug the appliance before moving or cleaning anything. Do not open panels, touch gas connections or bypass safety switches.
