LG Dishwasher tE code: Temperature sensor error
The dishwasher's temperature sensor (thermistor) reported a problem, or the water got much hotter than normal.
Most common causes
- Faulty thermistor
- Loose sensor wiring
- Heater running too hot
- Control board fault
What you can safely check yourself
- Turn the breaker off for about 30 seconds and back on, then restart the cycle
Unplug the appliance before moving or cleaning anything. Do not open panels, touch gas connections or bypass safety switches.
