LG Dishwasher FE code: Overfill error
More water entered the dishwasher than it should hold. It runs the drain pump to remove the extra water.
Most common causes
- Oversudsing from hand dish soap or too much detergent
- Water inlet valve sticking open
- Faulty water level sensor
What you can safely check yourself
- Use only dishwasher detergent in the right amount
- Restart the cycle after the extra water drains
- If water keeps coming in with the dishwasher off, close the water valve under the sink
