LG Dishwasher HE code: Heater error
The dishwasher could not heat the water properly, or the water got hotter than it should. Dishes may come out poorly cleaned or wet.
Most common causes
- Failed heater
- Faulty temperature sensor
- Low water level during heating
- Control board fault
What you can safely check yourself
- Turn the dishwasher's breaker off for about 30 seconds and back on, then restart the cycle
- Run the kitchen hot water until it is hot before starting a cycle
Unplug the appliance before moving or cleaning anything. Do not open panels, touch gas connections or bypass safety switches.
