This is not a fault. The control lock is on, so the buttons will not respond.

What you can safely check yourself
- Press and hold the two buttons marked for control lock on your panel for about 3 seconds (on many models, Half Load and Energy Saver)
Unplug the appliance before moving or cleaning anything. Do not open panels, touch gas connections or bypass safety switches.
