Frigidaire Washer E11 code: Fill time too long (front-load)
On Frigidaire front-load washers, E11 (and E10 on some models) means the washer took too long to fill with water.
Most common causes
- Water faucets not fully open
- Low water pressure
- Clogged inlet screens or kinked fill hoses
- Drain hose installed too low, so water siphons out while filling
- Faulty water inlet valve
What you can safely check yourself
- Open both faucets behind the washer all the way.
- Check the fill hoses for kinks.
- Make sure the drain hose is hooked high in the standpipe and not pushed too far down.
- Clean the drain pump filter, since a blocked pump can also let fill water escape.
Unplug the appliance before moving or cleaning anything. Do not open panels, touch gas connections or bypass safety switches.
