| E1 | Slow fill or no water (top-load) On Frigidaire top-load washers, E1 means water isn't coming in, or is filling too slowly. |
| E2 | Slow drain (top-load) On Frigidaire top-load washers, E2 means water is taking too long to drain or isn't draining properly. |
| E21 E20 | Slow drain (front-load) On Frigidaire and Electrolux front-load washers, E21 means the water is pumping out too slowly and the drain step took too long. E20 is a related drain code on some models. |
| E41 | Door open (front-load) On Frigidaire front-load washers, E41 means the control thinks the door is open, so it won't lock the door and start. |
| E3 | Lid open or lid lock failed (top-load) On Frigidaire top-load washers, E3 means the lid is open or the lid lock didn't engage. |
| E4 | Out of balance (top-load) On Frigidaire top-load washers, E4 means the load became unbalanced during spin. The washer tries to fix it by itself up to three times before showing the code. |
| E5 | Washer not level (top-load) On Frigidaire top-load washers, E5 means the unit is not level. |
| E11 E10 | Fill time too long (front-load) On Frigidaire front-load washers, E11 (and E10 on some models) means the washer took too long to fill with water. |
| E35 | Overfill (front-load) On Frigidaire front-load washers, E35 means the water level sensor detected too much water in the tub. |
