Bosch Dishwasher E25 code: Drain pump blocked
The drain pump is blocked, or its cover under the filter is loose or missing.
Most common causes
- Glass, bone, seed or other debris in the drain pump
- Loose or missing pump cover
- Clogged filter
What you can safely check yourself
- Turn the dishwasher off, then remove the filter from the bottom of the tub.
- Sponge out any standing water.
- Following your manual, pry off the pump cover (a spoon works) and carefully remove any debris. Watch for broken glass.
- Snap the pump cover back in firmly and reinstall the filter.
Unplug the appliance before moving or cleaning anything. Do not open panels, touch gas connections or bypass safety switches.
