Bosch Dishwasher E24 code: Not draining
The dishwasher isn't draining properly, often because the drain path is blocked. Water may be left standing in the bottom.
Most common causes
- Kinked or blocked drain hose
- Clogged filter
- Loose drain pump cover
- Knockout plug still in place on a newly installed garbage disposal
What you can safely check yourself
- Check the drain hose under the sink for kinks.
- Clean the filter at the bottom of the tub.
- Remove the filter and make sure the pump cover under it is seated firmly.
- If the disposal is new, make sure its knockout plug was removed.
Unplug the appliance before moving or cleaning anything. Do not open panels, touch gas connections or bypass safety switches.
