Bosch Dishwasher E23 code: Drain pump fault
The drain pump is blocked, clogged or not working.
Most common causes
- Debris jammed in the drain pump
- Failed drain pump motor
- Wiring or control fault
What you can safely check yourself
- Turn the dishwasher off, clean the filter and check under it for debris near the pump.
- Turn off power at the breaker for 30 seconds, then restore it and try a short cycle.
Unplug the appliance before moving or cleaning anything. Do not open panels, touch gas connections or bypass safety switches.
