GE Oven / Range F1 code: Control panel or control board fault
The electronic oven control found a fault in itself. GE's support page links this code to the keypad (touch panel), while repair-parts guides for some older models blame the main control board. Either way, the problem is in the electronic controls, not the heating parts.

What you can safely check yourself
- Switch off the range's circuit breaker for about three minutes, then turn it back on.

Unplug the appliance before moving or cleaning anything. Do not open panels, touch gas connections or bypass safety switches.
