Whirlpool Dishwasher F3E2 code: Water temperature / turbidity sensor error
The control has a problem with the thermistor that reads water temperature, which on many models also contains the sensor that judges how dirty the water is. Cycles may run long or dishes may not dry well.
Most common causes
- Failed thermistor/OWI sensor
- Loose or damaged sensor wiring
- Control board fault
What you can safely check yourself
- Reset the control: unplug the dishwasher (or switch off its breaker if it is hard-wired) for 30 seconds, then restore power.
Unplug the appliance before moving or cleaning anything. Do not open panels, touch gas connections or bypass safety switches.
