Frigidaire Oven / Range F11 code: Shorted keypad
The control thinks a button on the keypad is being held down or is shorted. The oven may beep and won't respond normally.
Most common causes
- Moisture or cleaner behind the keypad overlay
- Worn or damaged keypad
- Loose or damaged cable between the keypad and control board
- Failed control board
What you can safely check yourself
- Turn off the range's circuit breaker (or unplug it) for a few minutes, then restore power.
- Make sure nothing is pressing on the control panel.
- Let the panel dry out, and from now on spray cleaner onto a cloth, not onto the panel.
Unplug the appliance before moving or cleaning anything. Do not open panels, touch gas connections or bypass safety switches.
