Water has been detected in the base of the washer, which means a leak, so the AquaStop protection has been activated.
Most common causes
- Leaking hose or connection inside the washer
- Too many suds overflowing
- Leaking pump, filter cap or tub seal
What you can safely check yourself
- Turn off the water faucet.
- Unplug the washer.
- Check that the drain pump filter cap is screwed in tightly.
Unplug the appliance before moving or cleaning anything. Do not open panels, touch gas connections or bypass safety switches.
