Maytag Dryer PF code: Power failure
Power to the dryer was interrupted during a cycle, or the control saw unstable voltage. The cycle stops until you restart it.
Most common causes
- A brief power outage or flicker
- Electrical noise on the household line
- Loose power cord connection or outlet
What you can safely check yourself
- Press and hold Start to resume the cycle, or press Power to clear the display.
- If it happens again, switch the dryer's breaker off for one minute and back on.
Unplug the appliance before moving or cleaning anything. Do not open panels, touch gas connections or bypass safety switches.
