Whirlpool Oven / Range F9E0 code: Power supply / wiring or door lock fault
On current models F9 or F9E0 means the range sensed miswired power or unusual electrical noise on the supply line, often right after installation or a power outage. On some older models with two-digit codes, F9 instead points to a door lock problem.

- Outlet or power connection wired incorrectly
- Power outage or electrical noise
- Keys pressed while the control was still starting up
- Door lock switch or wiring fault (older models)
What you can safely check yourself
- Switch off the range's circuit breaker(s) for one minute, switch them back on and watch the display for a minute to see if the code returns.
- Wait a full minute after power returns before touching the keypad.
Unplug the appliance before moving or cleaning anything. Do not open panels, touch gas connections or bypass safety switches.
