LG Oven / Range F10 code: Door lock failure
The oven door lock system did not work as expected. F10 refers to the upper (or only) oven and F20 to the lower oven on double-oven models. It most often shows up around self-clean.
Most common causes
- Door lock motor or switch failure
- Something blocking the latch
- Loose wiring to the lock assembly
- Control board fault
What you can safely check yourself
- Press Clear/Off and try again
- Make sure nothing is caught in the door or latch area
- Turn the range's circuit breaker off for 30 seconds, then back on
Unplug the appliance before moving or cleaning anything. Do not open panels, touch gas connections or bypass safety switches.
