Maytag Oven / Range F3E0 code: Oven temperature sensor fault
The control has a problem reading the oven temperature sensor, the probe inside the oven cavity, or its wiring. The oven may not heat, may overheat, or may refuse to start bake or self-clean. On older two-digit displays F3 means the sensor reads open and F4 means it reads shorted.

What you can safely check yourself
- Switch off the range's circuit breaker(s) for one minute, switch them back on and watch the display for a minute to see if the code returns.
- Check that the thin sensor probe at the back of the oven is not bent or touching the oven wall.
Unplug the appliance before moving or cleaning anything. Do not open panels, touch gas connections or bypass safety switches.
